Master Configuration File

Master configuration files contain the following XML attributes:

• APP_FILE_PATH

• CONFIG_FILES

• MISC_FILES

• LOG_FILE_DIRECTORY

• CONTACTS_DIRECTORY

• OVERRIDES_DIRECTORY

• LICENSE_DIRECTORY

For example:

Configuration Parameters

The important parameters for the Polycom VVX 1500 D phone include:

• <voIpProt/>—Specify H.323 protocol, server, gatekeeper, and DTMF

signaling parameters.

• <up/>—Specify call routing parameters.

• <video/>—Specify the video call rate.

Note

A number of sample template files are included with the UC software 3.3.0 release.

The following templates may be of interest:

• reg-advanced.cfg

• video.cfg

• sip-interop.cfg
